Did they get on the throttle late in the dyno, or does the Sonic really make its power that way? There's absolutely no low end torque. Cobb Fiesta ST for comparison:

Yeah... that's probably what happened. Otherwise it has a very weird power curve, maybe due to a gigantic turbo.

This is a heavily modified Sonic with a new turbo bolted on, it's in early development.

Still not much low end torque, but once you hit 3500 it's not too far off a stock FiST.

It's better than damn near everything I've ever driven. The only reason I'm not 100% on that is because I learned to drive stick in an e30 M3, I bet if I drove that now I'd love it, back then it fucking terrified me.
